Once in a while, we have the good fortune to stumble cross a hidden gem of a venue. Not yet fully discovered, we just simply had to highlight The SEED Center operated by The Great Company by creating a style shoot that showcased its vintage Americana character and beauty. While the venue is definitely open to updating its décor for interested patrons’ events, we decided to celebrate it with this photo shoot. The style is reminiscent of America’s late 1940’s to early 1950’s era, which was a time scattered with love letters and airmail (due to World War 2), pinup girls, and tributes to our great country in red, white & blue.

We clothed our female model, Kiho, in a gorgeous fit and flare dress which accentuated her tiny waist and completed the look by incorporating a classic pin-up do with pearl accents. Makeup during the time frame was mostly bold red lips with beautifully lined eyes, which brilliant makeup artist, Chiali Meng, captured to perfection. Our male model, Robert, was dressed in classic suspenders and newsboy cap.

More than anything else, we love the accents of the venue with its huge American flag back drop, wall art, and quirky elements like the antique telephone booth. Our amazing photographers, Herman Au Photography & Cotton Love photography, did a phenomenal job capturing all the details and model shots. We are completely in love with this style shoot, the venue and of course, our great nation!
